Massive wildfires that have been burning in Australia since the first season began in late July 2019 creep closer to the suburbs of Sydney, while American firefighters join the effort to control the fires. Experts link years of drought due to climate change as the cause of the fires that have killed at least 25 people and an estimated half-billion animals.
